The world has changed in the last few years. Look around and you will see geeks everywhere. In 80s/90s a new stereotype was created - nerd. It is someone with black rim square glasses who love tech devices and with no real social life. 

Being a nerd wasn't so popular 20 years ago. Now we are seeing a big shift in people's behaviours. More and more do not have real social life and live in social networks only.  

Computers use to be very expensive and required skills. If someone had one he was a geek. Now almost everyone around us have cool tech devices and there is no need to be a geek to use computers.  

Devices that use to be science fiction is now our live.
